We are soldiers of the sea, providing forces and detachments to naval ships and shore operations. We are global leaders, developing expeditionary doctrine and innovations that set the example, and leading other countries' forces and agencies in the multinational military operations. These unique capabilities make us "First to Fight", and our nations first line of defense.
America's Navy is a force as relevant today as it's been historically significan for the last 238 years. The times may change, the threats may become more obscure, the complex nature of 21st century life may make the demand for such presence less obvious. However, now more than ever, the Navy is something to be aware of Something to be thankful for. Something to be proud of.

See or Call Commander Gorman for times in Sedona.Memorial Day Ceremony ,30 May, 20220830 post representatives will meet and load the chairs and presentation items then setup in Valley View Cemetery.11:00am, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7400 will be conducting the annual event honoring our fallen comrades. This year, the service will be held at Clarkdale’s Valley View Cemetery, in the Veteran section at the south end of the cemetery. Clarkdale Mayor Robyn Prud’homme-Bauer will be guest speaker.Some seating, shade and water will be provided, or you can bring your own. The ceremony should last about 30-45 minutes. Parents are encouraged to bring their children.
Following the ceremony we will conduct the Newly Elected Officers installation for the Post and Auxiliary. Immediately followed by a Pot Luck at the VFW. Post will provide hamburgers, baked beans and potatoes salad. The Auxiliary could bring Chips, Watermelon, and other snack items.
